| OneWorld Behavioral Health and Social Work providers work collaboratively with the medical providers to help patients with a variety of issues affecting their overall health. When a patient sees a medical provider and psychosocial or behavioral issues are identified, a behavioral health staff member or social worker will be called in to consult with the patient and/or family during the visit. Follow up appointments are made when necessary.
Behavioral health providers assist patients in dealing with problems such as depression, anxiety, pain management, ADHD, lifestyle changes related to chronic diseases, children's behavioral problems, parenting concerns, family violence, smoking cessation, chemical dependency, stress management, and marital and family conflicts. OneWorld social workers assist patients with accessing social support services, confronting financial and housing problems, violence and sexual assault, literacy, and many other issues.
English and Spanish counseling is available.
