Omaha is the largest city in Nebraska. It resides on the eastern border of the state across the Missouri River from Council Bluffs, Iowa. The city has a wide range of historic and new neighborhoods, as well as a large number of suburban communities.

The Omaha – Council Bluffs metropolitan area has a population greater than 900,000.
