OneWorld Community Health Centers was recently selected as a Greater Omaha Business Excellence Award winner. One of 32 businesses selected from more than 3,100 potential winners from around the metro area, OneWorld representatives will receive the award at a public event scheduled for May 12, 2015.
Over the last decade, OneWorld’s clinics have expanded nearly four-fold – caring for over 32,000 individual patients in 2014 at ten locations around the metro area. This includes the main Livestock Exchange campus, clinics in west and northwest Omaha, a clinic in downtown Plattsmouth, four school-based health centers, a mobile dental clinic, and a patient window at Omaha’s Mexican Consulate.
“It’s truly an honor to be recognized by the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce,” said OneWorld CEO Andrea Skolkin. “We know that our teams go above and beyond to care for patients and assist the community in any way they can, but it is always humbling to see businesses honor our mission and commitment to excellence.”
The May 12th event will be held at the Embassy Suites Omaha-La Vista where award winners will have the potential of being further recognized for excellence in the categories of Innovation, Leadership, Philanthropy through Nonprofit, Community and Milestones.
