Dr. Wesley Meyer, D.O.
Dr. Wesley Meyer, D.O. joined the staff of OneWorld Community Health Centers as a pediatrician. Dr. Meyer completed his pediatric residency at the University of Missouri Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. He has worked with Doctors Without Borders and participated in numerous medical missions and learning in Latin America. His hobbies include travel, camping, biking and disc golf.
Don Allison, PA-C
Don Allison, PA-C joined OneWorld as a Physician’s Assistant Family Practice. Don received his PA training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and went on to get a Master of Physician Assistant Studies in 1997. He has been taking trips to volunteer at medical clinics in Guatemala since 2003. When he is not working, Don enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.
Mikaela Dierks, PA-C>
Mikaela Dierks, PA-C is a Physician’s Assistant Family Practice at OneWorld and earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from UNMC in December of 2012. Mikaela has spent considerable time working in Costa Rica and Nicaragua with the vaccination campaign. She has also volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, at Children’s Hospital in Costa Rica and as a teacher for adult ESL classes.
Alexa Grzywa, PA-C
Alexa Grzywa, PA-C is a Physician’s Assistant Family Practice and earned her Master of Physician Assistant studies from UNMC in 2012. Alexa has been in leadership positions in a number of student associations and was a Sharing/Respect/Goodlife volunteer serving patients in a medically underserved population. In addition, she was a UNMC Regent Scholar and is fluent in Spanish.
