Vicki Bangert, MPAS, PA-C
Associate Medical Director
Vicki Bangert began working at OneWorld in 2007 after graduating from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Prior to working at OneWorld, she volunteered for our organization as a translator during tuberculosis (TB) clinics.
Vicki is dedicated to working with underserved communities around the world. As a student at Doane College, she studied abroad in Zimbabwe, Malawim, Namibia and South Africa. After graduating from Doane, she served as a volunteer for the Peace Corps for 28 months in Ecuador. During her time there, Vicki focused on community development training — educating community members on nutrition, physical activity and small-business management.
Vicki is a member of the Nebraska Association of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology with an emphasis in mental health from Doane College in 2000. She graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2006 with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree.
