The OneWorld Women’s Health Center is hosting a winter clothing event for OneWorld families on Oct. 21 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will distribute free cold-weather clothing, including coats, hats and mittens, in newborn sizes up through 12 years.
The event is part of our larger Baby Boutique effort, designed to help low-income, underserved families prepare for newborns by providing them with essential items when they attend prenatal appointments or classes. Over the past two years, OneWorld patients have visited the Baby Boutique more than 2,850 times to receive basic necessities such as onesies, diapers, socks, blankets and bibs.
The Boutique was initiated by generous support from Senator Gwen Howard, Lozier Corporation, March of Dimes, the Omaha Community Foundation and the Amy L. Scott Foundation, and it continues to be supported by donors like you!
Volunteers welcome patients during normal Baby Boutique hours on Mondays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
