What is a FQHC?

A Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), also known as a Community Health Center, provides essential health care services and specializes in helping people overcome barriers to care by providing a comprehensive array of services that typical clinics do not offer.

Clinicians at health centers lead teams of health care professionals who provide comprehensive, quality services to meet the needs of their patients and their communities.

As a designated FQHC, OneWorld cares for all members of our community regardless of race, religion, color, national origin, sexual orientation, pregnancy, age, gender identity, disability, military status, veteran status, ancestry, immigration status or ability to pay. We accept Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance, and we offer a sliding fee scale for uninsured patients.
