Martha Balderas

Behavioral Health Therapist

Martha Balderas is a provisionally licensed mental health counselor with a compassionate, integrated approach to therapy. Martha’s practice is centered on helping individuals achieve their personal goals for positive change, enhanced well-being and meaningful connection. With over three years of experience, she specializes in supporting children, adolescents and adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma and other mental health concerns.

Having completed her master’s degree internship at OneWorld, she joined the OneWorld Behavioral Health Team in January 2024 and is dedicated to providing comprehensive, empathetic care. Martha is deeply committed to increasing access to bilingual mental health services for individuals in need.

Outside of counseling, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, reading and immersing herself in the beauty of nature.

It is Martha’s privilege to support individuals on their journey toward healing, growth and self-discovery in areas including anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, substance use, grief, life transitions, relationship and interpersonal difficulties, suicidality, cultural identity concerns, mood disorders and personality disorders.

Martha can provide an integrative approach to therapy, blending evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered and psychodynamic approaches, mindfulness techniques and other promising practices. This holistic method is designed to meet the unique, multifaceted needs of each individual, recognizing and honoring the intersectional nature of every person’s experiences.
