Dr. Jeremy Howe graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish. After graduation, Dr. Howe worked in a biochemistry lab and volunteered at a hospital in Quito, Ecuador. He then earned his medical degree and master’s in public health at the University of Illinois-Chicago College of Medicine and School of Public Health in 2012.

Dr. Howe began his residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in the Family Medicine Urban Underserved program, now the Community Health Center Track, which allowed him to see OneWorld patients for all three years of his residency. Dr. Howe was hired for his current position at OneWorld in 2015 after completing his residency training.

At OneWorld, Dr. Howe provides supervision and guidance to clinicians at each of OneWorld’s satellite clinics. He has helped with the expansion of existing clinics and the opening of new satellite clinics. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Dr. Howe played a critical role with the design and implementation of OneWorld’s Covid-19 clinics.
