Dr. Shannon Kinnan began working at OneWorld in 2014 as a psychiatrist. She completed medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) and residency at the combined Creighton-UNMC program. Prior to working at OneWorld, she ran a teaching service for Creighton students and residents at Lasting Hope Recovery Center inpatient psychiatric hospital. 

She is fluent in Spanish and is interested in the mental health needs of Hispanic patients. During her time at OneWorld, she has played a vital role in increasing access to psychiatric services for patients, including pioneering the Advanced Integrative Mental Health Services program.

Dr. Kinnan is an associate professor of psychiatry at Creighton University and serves as a core faculty for the Creighton Psychiatry residency and the UNMC Addiction Medicine Fellowship. At the national level, she is active in the American Psychiatric Association. She is a leader in the field of psychiatry and is passionate about increasing access to behavioral health care for patients and the community.
