OneWorld Spotlight: Maggie Theiler
Working with children was always part of the plan for Maggie Theiler, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, CPNP-PC. A pediatric nurse practitioner, Maggie joined OneWorld in 2024 after completing advanced training in pediatric care.
“I love working with kids and getting to know them as they grow,” she said.
In 2017, Maggie earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Morningside College, in Sioux City, Iowa. She then went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner in 2020, also at Morningside College. Because she wanted to further specialize, she then earned a post-master’s certification in Pediatric Primary Care from Maryville University in St. Louis, Mo.
“My favorite things about working in pediatrics are seeing kids develop skills, find interests and explore the world around them,” Maggie said.
Maggie’s previous roles have taken her from Omaha to rural Wyoming and back again. Prior to earning her master’s, she worked as a pediatric registered nurse at Nebraska Medicine and Children’s Nebraska. She then moved to Wyoming to work as a pediatric nurse practitioner at a community health center for several years – before returning to Nebraska and taking on her current role at OneWorld.
Outside of work, Maggie enjoys spending time with her many pets. She also loves to read, cook, work out and travel the world with her husband.
