Practicing at OneWorld

OneWorld Community Health Centers is a family of state-of-the-art primary care health clinics. Our flagship location resides in the beautifully restored, historic Livestock Exchange Health building in South Omaha, flanked by the OneWorld Women’s Health Clinic and Quick Sick Clinic. We also operate several satellite locations.

Our team of clinicians collaborate to provide whole person care for our patients through our integrated model of health care that includes behavioral health, dentistry, pharmacy, nutrition, midwifery, pediatrics, family medicine and OB-GYN residency training clinics.

Accreditation

OneWorld is accredited as an ambulatory clinic by the Joint Commission and certified as a Patient-Centered Medical Home by NCQA. In 2020 OneWorld was recognized as a LGBTQIA2S+ Healthcare Equality Index Leader by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC).

National Health Service Corps

OneWorld Community Health Centers is a National Health Service Corps approved site. The NHSC is a program run by the federal government under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The NHSC helps bring clinicians to areas of the United States that have limited access to quality health care.

Each year, Health Professional Shortage Area scores are awarded to each NHSC-approved site ranging from 0-25 for primary care and mental health, and from 0-26 for dental care. The higher the score a facility receives, the greater the need is for quality health care in that area. These scores are awarded to each site based on:

  • The population-to-primary-care-physician ratio.
  • The percentage of the population with incomes below 100 percent of the poverty level.
  • The infant mortality rate or low birth weight rate.
  • Travel time or distance to the nearest available source of care.

OneWorld’s Current HPSA Scores by Speciality:

  • Medical: 16
  • Dental: 25
  • Mental Health: 14
